Door design inspired by the gods and goddesses of Ancient Egypt as well as the general iconography of this period. The door decorated with the head of a cat represents the goddess Bastet. Egyptian goddess of the joy of home, the warmth of the sun, motherhood, and also the protective goddess of pregnant women and children. The door decorated with the crocodile head represents the god Sobek. Sobek is the son of the aquatic goddess Neith and the twin gods Senwy (= the two brothers). His status as god of water and fertility makes him worshipped all over the Nile delta, the Fayum and in Kôm Ombo.
