Forced Disclosure (2018)

Forced Disclosure is a t-shirt created for my DNSEP (National Higher Diploma of Plastic Expression) at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Besançon (France).
This project gives a physical dimension to the Dark Pattern of the same name (a web trick embedded in the attention economy), which is defined by the fact that, as a consequence of a free or cheap action, a website asks the user to disclose detailed or even unnecessary personal information given the action to be performed.

The t-shirt is free under one condition: the person must agree to fill out the form present on the fabric. They will thus wear their personal information in public. Sharing personal information in the real world then seems more challenging than in the virtual space.

Printing: screenprinting on t-shirt, limited to à 20 copies
